Terms of Service
Version 1.1 — Last updated 2026-10-19.
These Terms of Service govern your use of Dawr App, the appointment and queue-management software for clinics and service businesses. They cover accounts, subscriptions and billing, acceptable use, data roles, liability, and termination — please read them together with the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
- Acceptance and eligibility.By creating an account or using Dawr App you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy, which forms part of them. You confirm you are legally able to contract and, where you register on behalf of a clinic or organization, that you are authorized to bind it. Account holders must be 18 years or older, or act through a legal guardian. Example: a receptionist creating the clinic's account confirms the clinic owner approved it. Users invited by an Organization accept these terms on first login (password setup).
- Definitions."Service" means the Dawr App appointment and queue-management software. "Organization" means the clinic or practice account you create or join. "User" means any person with login access under an Organization (owner, receptionist, staff). "Client Data" means the information an Organization enters about its own clients (names, phone numbers, appointments, schedules). "Plan" means a subscription tier with stated limits.
- The Service. Dawr App provides Organizations with scheduling, appointment booking and tracking, live queue positions, client track links, and notifications (email and, where enabled, Telegram/WhatsApp). A typical flow: the Organization publishes working schedules → books appointments → clients track their live position from their phones → staff advance and serve the queue. Features and limits depend on Organization type and Plan (see §5). We may improve, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice for material removals.
- Accounts and security. Registration details must be accurate and kept current. Login requires a verified email address; verification links expire after 24 hours and password-reset links after 1 hour — request a fresh one if expired. Passwords and sessions are personal: keep credentials confidential, do not share accounts, and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access. Example: if a staff member leaves, the owner must deactivate that login rather than reuse it. You are responsible for all activity under your accounts. We may suspend accounts showing abuse, fraud, or security risk, with notice where practicable.
- Trial, plans, and fees. New Organizations begin with a free trial:
Organization type Free trial Organization (multi-branch teams) 14 days Individual (solo/small single-location practice) 21 days Continued use afterwards requires a paid Plan. Plan limits, prices, and billing terms are shown at purchase and on the pricing page; upgrading or downgrading applies from the next billing cycle unless stated otherwise; fees are non-refundable except as required by law. Unpaid accounts may be restricted to read-only and, after notice, suspended — Client Data remains exportable on request during restriction.
Cancellation: a subscription period that has started cannot be cancelled or refunded mid-term — access continues until its end date. Only future scheduled periods can be cancelled, newest first. Organization owners request cancellation in the app or through support, subject to admin approval.
- Client Data: ownership and roles. The Organization owns its Client Data. As between the parties, for Client Data the Organization is the data controller and we act as processor strictly on the Organization's instructions under these terms and the Privacy Policy. The Organization warrants it has all necessary rights and consents (including, for any minor, a guardian's consent, and no more data than necessary) to store and process Client Data through the Service.
- Sensitive data prohibition. You must not enter health data or other sensitive personal data into any field. The Service is not licensed to process sensitive data; any such entry is a breach of these terms and may lead to suspension and deletion of the offending data. A client's mere presence in a medical practice's queue does not turn names and phone numbers into health records in our system — but Organizations of a medical nature remain responsible for obtaining proper client consent for that presence.
- Acceptable use.You must not: use the Service unlawfully (e.g. processing data you have no right to); send spam or unsolicited marketing (e.g. appointment reminders to non-clients); attempt to disrupt, overload, or probe the Service (e.g. scraping, load-testing without permission); access other Organizations' data; circumvent access controls, trial limits, or Plan limits (e.g. sharing one login across a team); reverse-engineer except as permitted by law; or use the Service to infringe anyone's rights.
- Availability. We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is scheduled outside peak hours where possible and announced in advance; force majeure and third-party provider incidents may cause downtime. Material incidents are communicated to your account email.
- Intellectual property. We own the Service, software, trademarks, and content we provide; no rights are transferred except the limited right to use the Service under these terms. The Organization retains all rights in its Client Data and grants us the limited license to host, process, back up, and transmit it solely to operate the Service.
- Confidentiality. Each party keeps the other's non-public information confidential, disclosing it only as needed to operate the Service or as required by law, with reasonable protective measures.
- Data protection. Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data, limit internal access to what is necessary, and engage sub-processors (hosting, email, messaging) only as disclosed there. In a personal-data breach we follow the notification commitments in the Privacy Policy.
- Suspension and termination. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your data at any time via the contact in §18 below; deletion follows the Privacy Policy timelines (account data on verified request, logs on the 90-day cycle). We may suspend or terminate for material breach, non-payment (after notice), abuse, legal obligation, or Service discontinuation, with reasonable notice except where immediate action is required for security or law.
- Disclaimer and liability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to the amounts you paid in the preceding 12 months (zero during free use), and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of Client Data beyond our backup commitments.
- Indemnity. You indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your Client Data, your Users' conduct, or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law. Example: a complaint by your client about messages your Organization sent through the Service is your responsibility to resolve.
- Changes. Material changes will be posted here with a new version and date; continued use after the effective date means acceptance. For material adverse changes we will give reasonable advance notice through the Service or your account email.
- Governing law and disputes. These terms are governed by the laws of Egypt. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent Egyptian courts. In case of discrepancy between the Arabic and English versions, the Arabic version prevails. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.
- Contact and entire agreement. Questions: dawr@example.com. These terms plus the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement for the Service.
